Took me 11 hours to figure out why my chatbot kept forgetting what people told it three messages earlier
I was building a little support bot for my cousin's bike repair site in Tucson and it kept acting like every message was the first one it ever saw. Turned out I was sending each message as a brand new request instead of passing the chat history along, so it had zero memory of anything, and I lost a full Saturday night to it. Is there a simple way to keep that context going without paying for some big memory feature on top?
