At my job, everyone's pushing for digital manuals, but I'm not convinced

Paper versions never fail during a repair. I use them because they're reliable.

Paper wins every time. Digital stuff always glitches when you need it most.

Wait, you keep your manuals in direct sunlight?

But what happens when your paper manual gets damaged? I've had pages tear out from grease stains, or the binding fails so page 27 is suddenly across the room. Sunlight can fade the ink over time in a shop too. Doesn't that make it just as unreliable when you can't read a critical step?
