Serious question, does anyone else think door contacts on the hinge side are asking for callbacks?
Had two service calls in Oak Park last week where the original installer put contacts on the hinge side and the gap opened up enough to trip the tamper every time the door swelled with the rain. Half the guys I know say it's fine because it's faster to wire, but I think it's just lazy, so where do you all land on this?
