That 3 AM call from a customer changed how I wire panels
A lady in Tucson called me at 3 AM because her keypad was beeping low battery, but she ignored it for 2 days until the system went dead. She said 'I thought it would just keep working,' and that hit me, my customers treat a beeping panel like a smoke detector you can unplug. Now I program every install with a 60 hour low battery window and walk them through it, has anyone else shortened their default delay temps after a scare like that?
