My realtor told me to skip the home inspection to win a bidding war in Red Deer, worst call I ever made
Back in March we were bidding on a 1978 bi-level in Red Deer and our realtor said to drop the inspection condition because there were four other offers. We got the place for $12,000 over ask, then found out in June the whole north wall had water damage hiding behind fresh paint. Fixing it ran us about $9,400 and we had to move out for 11 days while they dried it all out. Anyone else ever get talked out of an inspection and live to regret it?
