Bought a $120 light meter off eBay, now I'm torn on if it was worth it
I picked up a Minolta Flash Meter IV about 3 months ago thinking it'd fix my exposure issues with a beat-up Pentax K1000, but I've only used it maybe 5 times since. Part of me says trust the sunny 16 rule and bracketing, which costs nothing, while the other part thinks it saved me 2 rolls of blown shots at a wedding last weekend. Anyone else drop real cash on gear they barely touch, or do you swear by having the exact measurement every time?
