Used to eyeball every shot on my Canon AE-1, now I meter with a $4 app and my keeper rate doubled

Laughed way too hard at the idea of a 40 year old camera finally getting a software update. Meanwhile the app is probably just a fancy light meter that tells you what the AE-1 already told you for free, except now you trust it because it lives on a glowing rectangle. Next you'll tell me taping a phone to the hot shoe counts as a tech upgrade. Honestly though, whatever gets your shots to stop looking like you guessed wrong at a birthday party.
