Dropped $70 on a used DVD box set at a con and it got me through a real rough spot
Back in 2019 I grabbed the full Cowboy Bebop set at a tiny con in Sacramento for $70. My roommate had just moved out and I was eating dinner alone every night, so I started watching one disc after work. Two weeks later I'd finished it and actually felt like talking to people again. Crazy how a cheap secondhand set did more for me than the $200 I blew on streaming stuff that year. Anyone else have a random pickup that turned into something more than just watching?
