The anime convention hallway trick that actually changed how I watch shows
Last month I drove down to Anime Boston for the weekend and noticed something at the dealer's room that stuck with me. Every other booth had their posters and keychains laid out flat on tables, but one vendor had everything hanging on pegboards with clips. It took me a minute to realize why that mattered. I bought a single clear file folder from them and started sorting my own collection that night. Turns out flipping through shows by mood instead of alphabetical order makes marathons way easier. I found three series I had forgotten I owned, including one I never finished because I lost track of the disc. Has anyone else tried organizing their physical media by vibe or release season instead of the usual a-to-z setup?

Honestly I can't get behind this at all... alphabetical is the only way my brain works with physical media. I tried sorting my Blu-rays by "mood" once and spent twenty minutes hunting for a specific K-On movie because apparently I filed it under "cozy" instead of just K. Plus my shelf has guests over sometimes and nobody can find anything if it's not in some kind of logical order. I get the appeal of rediscovering stuff but I'd rather just flip through my own collection like a record bin and accept that I forgot some shows exist. That's half the fun for me... the surprise when I stumble across something buried in the back.
