Why I still use my grandpa's analog meter for certain jobs

Back in the day, we learned to watch the needle's swing on an analog multimeter to spot a failing part. Now, digital meters give quick numbers but can skip over slow resistance shifts. I teach new repairers how that old method finds problems in motors that new tools might miss. It's a simple trick that makes tough fixes easier.

Digital meters catch slow shifts with precise data logs.
