Rant: Spent 3 hours picking the perfect hinge cut on a red oak in Portland, then the wind took it the wrong way
Felling a 60 foot oak near a shed last week, I set my notch and back cut to drop it clean, but the gust hit right at the last second and it went sideways into the fence. Anyone else had a tree go rogue like that, or am I the only one blaming the weather for my bad timing?
