My old tube of ultramarine turned into a brick, almost lost a whole painting over it
Pulled out a half-used tube I'd had since college in Portland and the paint had hardened into a rock, took me two days of soaking and scraping to salvage enough for one sky. Has anyone else tried reviving dried acrylic with water versus medium, or do you just pitch it and ask for a replacement here?

Wasted two days on that brick too, guess my patience dried up faster than the paint.
