That bus driver in Philly remembered my name after 3 weeks
I take the 21 route to work every day around 6:40 AM. Same driver, same seat near the back door. Last Tuesday he just said 'Morning, Mason' when I swiped my pass, no prompt or anything. I didn't even realize I'd told him my name that first week when I was fumbling with my fare card. Small thing, but it made the whole shift feel less crappy. Anyone else have a stranger who turned out to be a regular part of their day?
Ugh, creepy much? That driver probably has some weird thing for you. Memorizing names is how they get you. Next thing you know he's asking about your weekend plans or saving you a seat. I'd start sitting up front where he can't see me.
