My tracking mount died mid-shoot and I nearly lost a whole night of Andromeda data

Last week I set up my star tracker in a field outside Tucson, got everything polar aligned, then the motor just seized up after 40 minutes and my first 15 subs came out as star trails. Has anyone else had a mount fail like this and did you try fixing the motor yourself or just bite the bullet on a replacement?

Motor swap is easy, just do it yourself and save the money.
