Picked between the old laundromat on Ponce and a new spot in Decatur, and I still think about it
Back in 2019 my cheap washer died and I had to pick between the old laundromat on Ponce and a newer spot out in Decatur. The Ponce place was closer and had that same guy running it for like 20 years, but the machines ate quarters and half the dryers ran cold. I went with Decatur because a coworker swore the big washers there fit a whole comforter, and honestly the $14 I spent each trip was worth it. Last month I drove past the Ponce spot and it's a smoothie shop now. Has anyone found a good laundromat near the Old Fourth Ward since that one closed?
