After 5 blowouts, I stopped using pry bars on alloy rims
I used to think prying on aluminum rims was fine until I cracked two wheels in one month at a shop near Dayton. Switched to a tire spoon with a plastic guard and it costs $14, no more bent lips or angry customers. Anyone else had a rim fail from a pry bar job?
