Rant: Getting my car shipped from Denver to Phoenix took 17 days instead of 3
So I had my Corolla picked up in Denver on March 2nd and the broker swore it would hit Phoenix by the 5th, easy. Two days later the driver calls from a truck stop outside Flagstaff and says he can't find anyone to hand off to, so my car sat there for almost a week before some other hauler grabbed it. One side of me says brokers should just quote honest windows instead of pretending everything is overnight, but the other side says maybe I should've paid the extra $300 for a direct carrier and skipped the whole relay mess. It finally showed up on the 19th with a cracked mirror and nobody would own it. Anyone else had a short haul turn into a two week ordeal, or did I just get unlucky with the handoff?
