Vent: Broker in Phoenix lowballed my dispatch rate after one icy phone call
Tbh I was hauling a car from Phoenix to Vegas last month and the broker tried to slash my pay by $150 because I hit light snow near the pass. He claimed 'road conditions changed the contract terms' which is total BS since I already had the rig loaded. I told him to put it in writing if he wanted to renegotiate mid-run and suddenly he backed off. Has anyone else had brokers pull that kind of stunt after the truck is already moving? How do you guys handle rate disputes without burning the relationship?
