Picked up my car in Phoenix and the paint looked like a different vehicle than the one I dropped off
I shipped my old Honda from Columbus to Phoenix back in March, and when I picked it up at the terminal the paint had this dull chalky haze all over the hood and roof. Dropped it off shiny and dark blue, got it back looking faded gray in spots. The driver said it was just dust from the open trailer and a long trip through the desert, which I sort of get, but a full wash and clay bar only brought back maybe 80 percent of it. Has anyone dealt with sun or road grime damage from an open carrier, and did a detail shop ever get it fully back?
