A guy on the trail near Damascus told me my food bag was hung all wrong, and it fixed my whole sleep setup
He said hanging it 12 feet up and 6 feet from the trunk does nothing if a bear can just reach out from the branch, so now I hang it lower and way further out on a limb. Anyone else change their bear hang after getting called out on the trail?
