Just read that raccoons can wipe out a coop in one night, and now I can't sleep
I was killing time on the county extension site last Tuesday and their poultry page said a single raccoon can reach through wire and pull a hen apart piece by piece through a gap as small as 2 inches. I built my run with 2x4 welded wire thinking it was solid, and now I'm second guessing every seam on the thing. What mesh size and hardware are you all actually running, because I would rather redo it now than find feathers at 6am.
