I finally watched that 2 star creature feature and lost 12 bucks on the whole experience

Picked up a DVD of 'Sharknado 7: Final Bite' at a gas station outside Tulsa for 12 dollars because the cover art looked hilarious, but it was just boring CGI and bad acting with zero fun energy. Me and my buddy tried to riff on it but gave up after 40 minutes because there was nothing worth laughing at, just flat scenes and a weird subplot about a lighthouse. Has anyone else wasted cash on a so-bad-it's-good flick that turned out to be just plain bad, and how do you tell the difference before you buy?

See I gotta push back on this one because Sharknado 7 is a masterpiece compared to what I sat through last month. That lighthouse subplot was actually the most grounded part of the whole thing, and honestly the fact that it made zero sense was the charm. I bought a movie called 'Gatoroid' for 8 bucks thinking it'd be the same kind of dumb fun and it was literally just two actresses yelling at each other in a swamp for 90 minutes with maybe three alligator shots total. You can't tell before you buy, that's the whole point. You gotta embrace the risk and let the badness wash over you instead of trying to riff on it, that's when you end up disappointed.

Wait, Sharknado 7 isn't even a real movie, they stopped at 6 back in 2018. Sounds like you grabbed some knockoff called 'Final Bite' that was literally made to trick people at gas stations, that's why it was so flat.
