I finally watched 'The Room' after years of hearing about it
I grabbed a used DVD of The Room from a thrift store last Saturday for $2, fully expecting just another boring movie. Instead, I laughed so hard at the random football scene that my roommate banged on the wall and asked if I was okay. Has anyone else had a bad movie totally flip your mood around like that?

Read some article saying Tommy Wiseau wrote the whole script in like two weeks with zero rewrites, which explains everything about why it feels like random scenes stitched together. It definitely made my bad week better though, just laughing at how serious everyone acts while throwing a football in slow motion. That movie is a masterpiece of unintended comedy, no doubt about it lol.

That football scene came out of literally nowhere, I was not prepared for how serious they were about it. Made me wonder if Tommy Wiseau secretly knows exactly what he's doing with the weird pacing.
