Used to chase big explosions in bad movies, now I hunt for the one guy who clearly can't act
Ten years ago my bad movie nights were all about the biggest, dumbest action trash I could find, stuff with tanks and slow motion and a budget that somehow still looked cheap. Now at 34 I honestly skip most of that. Last Friday I put on a 1987 straight to video movie about a killer in a warehouse and the best part was a guy named Duane who has maybe four lines and delivers every one like he's reading a phone book. Me and my buddy rewound his big speech three times and we were crying laughing. Big explosions are easy, the whole crew knows how to blow something up. A guy who is clearly a friend of the director and cannot act at all, that's a gift you can't fake. Anybody got a movie with a side character so bad you kept the whole thing just to see him again?
