Appreciation post: the $4 fabric pot beat my fancy glazed planter

Picked up a cheap 10 gallon fabric grow bag at a garden center in Fresno for my cherry tomatoes and it drained so much better than the glazed pot I'd been babying for two seasons. Plants in the bag are about a foot taller and setting fruit sooner, mostly because the roots get air. Anyone else switch their balcony setup over to fabric, and did the watering get harder for you?
