I finally measured my balcony light and my tomatoes were getting less than 4 hours of direct sun
Bought a $15 light meter after wondering why my cherry tomatoes kept dropping blossoms, and it turns out the building next door blocks the sun after 11am, so they were getting maybe 3 and a half hours instead of the 6 to 8 they need. Moved everything to the other railing and got my first real harvest 5 weeks later. Has anyone else actually measured their light, or am I the only one who just guessed for two seasons?
