Chose a 5 dollar PS2 lot over a 30 dollar Switch port, zero regrets
Honestly saw a garage sale post with a dusty PS2 and like 12 games for 5 bucks. Passed on that 30 dollar indie Switch port everyone keeps hyping up. Took the lot home in Tulsa, cleaned the lens with a q-tip, and it fired right up. Got 60 hours into SSX 3 for five dollars, no way a digital port wouldve hit the same. Anyone else still grabbing old consoles over modern re-releases?
Doesn't the disk actually feel more real than a download bar? Sixty hours on SSX 3 beats any pixel port I've seen. That game's trick system still holds up today. You got a whole console and a library for the price of a burger, that's a win. Digital's fine for convenience, but there's no beating a scratched disk that fires right up.
