My monitor arm saga last Tuesday, almost lost it over a gas spring

I spent 4 hours trying to get my new monitor arm to hold position. Kept sagging no matter what I did. Turns out the tension screw needs a hex key, not a Phillips. Anyone else struggle with those tiny adjustment bolts?
