Tried a sit-stand desk converter from Costco for $300 and my back pain got worse

I grabbed that Tresanti sit-stand converter from Costco last month for $299.99, thinking it would fix my lower back issues after 6 hours of coding daily. Turns out the bouncing motion when I type makes me lean weirdly to compensate. Has anyone else found that certain standing setups actually make posture worse before better?

... and honestly I think we're all just chasing some perfect ergonomic setup that doesn't exist, you know? Everyone wants to believe a $300 gadget will fix years of bad habits but your body already learned to slouch and lean in certain ways. The wobble on those converters is real though, I tried a friend's and felt like I was typing on a boat. Sometimes the expensive solution just adds new problems instead of solving the old ones.
