My binge-watching changed for the better after I started this simple trick...

I kept getting overwhelmed by all the shows on my list... never actually watching anything. So I decided to only pick series with a clear end, like miniseries or shows that wrapped up. It clicked when I blasted through 'The Haunting of Hill House' in one night... every episode pulled me in. Now I look for stuff with a tight story arc, no endless seasons. This way, I feel satisfied instead of left hanging... it's a game changer. Shows like 'Band of Brothers' are perfect for this kind of binge. Honestly, it's made my viewing time so much more fun and less stressful...

Ever try this with book series too, or just shows?

Yeah, with book series too, @west.brian... I saw people online talking about that same thing with long fantasy novels. Makes sense.

Last month, I tried this with nature documentaries like 'Our Planet'. Each season wraps up its own themes, so I get that closed story feeling. It really helps when my day is broken into small chunks of free time. I can finish a series without that nagging sense of more episodes hanging over me. Applying that same rule to all my watching just makes everything feel more manageable. I even look for finished anime series now, because that same need for an ending is totally there too.
