That 14-episode Korean drama got me in 3 nights

I heard a coworker say she finished a show in one weekend and thought she was lying. Then I started this K-drama on a Tuesday, next thing I know it's Friday and I've watched 11 episodes. The cliffhangers are brutal, every episode ends 2 minutes before the reveal. Has anyone else lost a whole week to a show they started as background noise?

Saw a study once that said binge watching messes with your sleep schedule. That explains a lot honestly. These shows know exactly when to cut the scene. They got that formula down to a science. By episode 8 I was convinced I knew the twist, then they flipped it on me. Now I just tell people I'm busy for a few days before I start anything new.
