Update: If you binge that new detective series, get ready for a plot hole that doesn't make sense.

When I run into a plot hole, I try to focus on the parts of the show that work. From what I've seen, if the characters are strong or the story is fun, I can let some things slide. For example, with a mystery show last year, there was a clue that made no sense. I decided to just enjoy the ride and not overthink it. That kept me from getting too hung up on the details. Your mileage may vary, but it helps me finish the series without losing interest.

Murder at the Marina had a timeline that made zero sense (like, Tuesday happened twice). But the main detective's grumpy delivery killed me, so I just went with it.

Totally get that! I watched this sci-fi show last year where the special effects were honestly pretty cheap looking. But the main cast had such good chemistry, you know? Their friendships felt real and I got hooked on their stories. After a while, who even cares about the green screen when you're that into the people? It's funny how one good part can make you ignore a bunch of other junk.
