My neighbor told me to just put tape on the outside of my window, and now I have 6 dead birds and a sticky mess
I live in Seattle and my big picture window faces a cedar tree, so every spring I get a few strikes, but last month a robin hit it so hard I heard it from the kitchen. My neighbor saw me outside with a broom and said "just slap some masking tape on the glass, birds see it fine," so I did, and it clearly did nothing because I found 6 more birds in 3 weeks. What actually works for a window this big, do I really need the full dot pattern or is there something cheaper that isn't ugly?
