PSA: Saw a dead cardinal under the glass walkway at my office in Columbus, and the whole building is basically a bird trap

I was walking into work at the 4 story glass atrium on High Street last Tuesday and saw a cardinal lying under the bridge between the two wings, and it hit me that this happens all the time and nobody talks about it. The windows reflect the trees behind them so from the bird's view it just looks like more forest, and I counted 3 other spots on the same walk where smudges were still on the glass. Has anyone had luck getting a landlord or building manager to actually put up decals on a big commercial building, or do you just give up and do your own window at home?
