Unpopular opinion: the tape dots did more than my curtains ever did
I put the little white dots on just my two big sliding doors here in Portland 8 months ago, and we went from about 4 strikes a season to zero so far. Why do people keep buying full screens when 6 dollars of tape seems to do the job?
Four strikes a season in eight months? That seems pretty low to begin with. People buy the full screens because the dots only work if the bugs actually land on them, and most of the time they just fly around them. Six dollars of tape versus a real screen is not the same thing, one blocks the opening and the other just hopes the bug hits a sticker. Maybe your building just has a light bug problem and the dots got credit for that.
