Guy at our Thursday game night traded away my only path to a win and then said "it's just a game"
So last Thursday at the shop on Cedar we had a 5 player game going and this newer guy, Dan, sat to my left and kept making deals that only helped himself. Around turn 6 I had one card combo left that could keep me alive and he traded the last piece of it to the guy who was already leading. I asked him why and he looked me dead in the eye and said "it's just a game, man." That line has been rattling around my head for a week because it is NOT just a game when you spend 2 hours building something. I'm not saying ban him from game night, but maybe we stop inviting him to anything longer than a filler. Am I being too sensitive here or has anyone else dealt with a table member who treats other people's plans like nothing?
