Blew $45 on a used book for book club and half the chapters are missing
Bought a used copy of our pick for $45 at a shop in Milwaukee and got home to find pages 90 to 140 ripped out. I ended up reading the summary online the night before club and faking my way through the discussion, which felt awful. Has anyone else gotten burned buying used copies for club, or should I just stick to the library?
