Glue pot disaster on a Saturday, saved by a hairdryer
Was rebinding a 1940s novel in my garage and my PVA pot tipped over, soaked the first signature before I even noticed. Panicked, wiped what I could, then hit it with a hairdryer on low for 15 minutes until it was tacky enough to press flat. Turned out fine, but now I'm paranoid about jar lids. Anyone else had a near ruin that ended up perfect?
