Bought a cheap mortar mixer attachment, lost 3 hours of work in Tulsa
Picked up one of those $60 paddle mixers online and it threw a gear halfway through my second batch. The slurry set up in the tub while I futzed with it, wasted almost a full bag of type S. Anyone else had luck with the rental units from Home Depot instead?
Burned through two of those cheap Amazon paddles last summer, the gearbox just gums up and dies on thick batches. Rent the HD one next time, it costs like $30 a day and actually has the torque to finish a pour.
