Serious question, found a $3 brass candle holder at a Goodwill in Tulsa and now my whole place looks expensive
Went in looking for a bookshelf and walked out with a heavy brass candle holder for $3. It was tarnished and ugly but I scrubbed it with lemon and salt for like 20 minutes and it shined up like something from a fancy store. Stuck a $1 white taper candle in it on my coffee table and my friend asked where I got it. Whole thing cost me $4 and it made the room feel like a hotel. What are some other cheap thrift items that trick people into thinking you have money?
A real brass candlestick is the cheat code, got mine at a estate sale for $2. Also try a big mirror or a woven basket, those two make any room look like you hired a decorator.
