TIL I wasted $180 on airport parking because I never checked the lot 2 miles out
Flew out of Chicago Midway last month and paid $32 a day to park right at the terminal garage for 6 days before a coworker mentioned the off site lot on Cicero that runs $9 a day with a free shuttle. I pulled up the receipt and did the math on the drive home and felt like an idiot for never even looking at the cheap lots. How do you all figure out which off site lot is actually safe and not a sketchy dirt patch?
