Found $14 in a winter coat pocket and that was somehow the best part of my Tuesday
So last Tuesday I'm digging through the hall closet for a scarf because it hit 38 degrees in Austin, and I pull out a coat I haven't worn since February. Inside the pocket: a crumpled $10 bill, three ones, and a dollar in quarters, all from a taco run I completely forgot about. That night I also found out my grocery store had marked down a whole rotisserie chicken to $3.50, so I ate like a king on found money and felt rich for about six hours. Has anyone else ever basically paid themselves back by cleaning a closet, or am I just weirdly lucky with pockets?
