My grocery bill dropped $31 a trip after I started shopping the outside aisles first
Started doing this back in March at the H-E-B on South Congress and my cart is way less full of stuff I didn't plan for. Turns out walking past the chips and frozen stuff first was wrecking my list. What order do you shop a store in?
I started hitting produce and meat first too and it made a big difference. Grabbing the stuff on my list before the snacks means I'm not as tempted to toss extra junk in the cart. Doesn't always work but it's better than wandering in hungry.
