Stopped eating out for lunch for 3 months and my bank account actually showed it
I used to spend $12-$15 every day grabbing sandwiches near work, and after 90 days of packing leftovers instead, I had an extra $780 sitting there I didn't even miss. Has anyone else been surprised by how fast small daily stuff adds up when you actually track it?

Yep @alice_harris35 that cash trick works. Physical money hits different. But heres the thing I've noticed - once you see one leak you start seeing them everywhere. Subscriptions. Snacks at the gas station. Random Amazon orders under $10. They all feel small alone but together they're a whole lifestyle drain. Its like death by a thousand cuts but for your wallet. The scary part is how normal it all feels until you actually stop and look.

wait $780?! that's wild to me. i did the same thing with coffee runs last year, figured i was only spending like $4 a day but over 6 months it was almost $700. that hurt to see in black and white. i still treat myself sometimes but now i use cash for it so i can actually feel the money leaving my hand.
