Hit 52 spreads in my journal and realized I'd been lying to myself about one thing
Tbh I started my first bullet journal last March and just counted 52 weekly spreads. That's a full year. What surprised me was flipping back through it, I found 14 weeks where I wrote the same three goals over and over and never touched them. Been using a cheap $6 dotted notebook from Michaels and a Pilot G2 the whole time. Has anyone else done a look back like this and actually cut the goals that keep showing up dead?
I used to roll my eyes at the idea of quitting goals, like cutting them meant I was giving up. Flipping through 9 months of my own journal last year changed that for me, 11 of those weeks had "learn guitar" written down and I never once picked it up. So I drew a line through it and wrote down why, and that honesty actually made the rest of my list feel more real.
