The library study room moment that hit my weekly layout
Two Tuesdays ago I was in the downtown library and saw a student running a tracker with boxes for every 25-minute block. That pushed me to switch my daily spread from a big schedule to small time slots, and now my appointments actually fit without overflow. Anyone else try time-blocking after seeing it work in a public space?
Those 25-minute boxes sound like a hostage negotiation more than a planner, but hey, whatever gets the appointments to stop fighting each other. My sister tried the same thing after watching some guy in a coffee shop color-code his whole week, and she lasted exactly four days before her slots were just one big box labeled "panic." Still, I get it, seeing a real person do it hits different than some video telling you to. The library is a risky spot though, one glance at someone's tracker and now you are redoing your whole system on a Tuesday.
