Found out the average cabinet shop in the US only has 2.3 employees

I was poking around the 2022 Census data for our industry last week and that number stopped me cold. Almost every shop I know, including mine, runs with 2 to 4 guys. My grandfather had 11 people working under him in the 70s, so we have clearly gone backwards. One big custom shop in town went from 14 employees down to 3 after the 2008 crash and never hired back. Does anyone here still work in a shop with more than 10 people on the floor?
