Coax staples shot straight through the jacket on a 3-unit job in Gary last week
I keep seeing guys staple down drops with the staple gun set too deep, and on a 3-unit job in Gary last week I pulled 4 lines that were nicked right to the copper because of it. The signal tests looked fine at first, then half the house dropped out in the rain, and it's always the staples nobody checks. How do you set your staple depth, or do you just skip staples on runs under a stud bay?
