Hot take: my buddy in Flagstaff talked me out of a $300 sleeping pad and he was right
He handed me his old closed cell foam pad for a 20 degree night on the San Francisco Peaks and I slept warmer than I do on my inflatable. Now I want to know who else went back to cheap foam and what pad they landed on.
