My neighbor saw my duct taped tent pole and asked why I don't just buy a new one
He's 72 and has been camping around Lake Tahoe since the 80s, and he said he still uses the same Coleman stove his wife got him in 1986 because he just replaces the seals once a season. That got me thinking about how I've tossed at least 3 tents in the past 8 years over small stuff like a bent pole or a stuck zipper. Do you guys actually fix your gear or am I the only one treating tents like they're disposable?
